Method
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a clean, dry bowl, whip the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
- Gradually add the sugar, one tablespoon at a time, while continuing to whip the egg whites.
- Once all the sugar is added, whip for an additional 2-3 minutes until the meringue is glossy and forms stiff peaks.
- Spoon or pipe the meringue onto the prepared baking sheet in the shape of a wreath. Create a well in the center to hold the toppings.
- Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and immediately reduce the temperature to 250°F (120°C).
- Bake for about 1 hour and 30 minutes or until the pavlova is crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. Allow it to cool completely.
- Once the pavlova wreath is cooled, carefully transfer it to a serving plate.
- Whip the cream until stiff peaks form and spread it in the center of the pavlova wreath.
- Decorate the whipped cream with an assortment of fresh fruits. Arrange the fruits in a visually appealing manner, covering the whipped cream.
