Homemade Pesto
  1. Fry the pine nuts lightly
  2. Peel and crush the garlic
  3. Blitz in a processor with the remaining ingredients until smooth
  4. Drizzling in a little oil until you are happy with the consistency
  5. Season to taste and add an optional squeeze of lemon juice

Homemade Pesto

Nothing tastes better than fresh homemade basil. Use as a dip or for a quick and easy stir in pasta sauce.

  • 80g fresh basil
  • 50g pine nuts
  • 150ml olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 lemon (optional)
